About Us

On July 7, 1999, a group of graduated students from the University of Wisconsin — Milwaukee held the first official meeting of the Alpha Kappa Psi's City of Festivals Alumni Chapter. This mission was simple, find a way to give back to the organization that has given so much to them.

In April 2002, the executive board of the Alumni Chapter commissioned a committee to establish a tax deductible public foundation. The mission of this foundation stated: To further the educational endeavors of both future and current business leaders. 

On November 12, 2003, the Foundation was granted the IRS status of the 501(c)3. This status allows you to deduct contributions to us on your tax return. Until 2007, the Foundation was exclusively focused on raising funds for scholarships. We have recently  expanded our focus to bring high quality professional programs to students, alumni, and our associates.
